Whitney Melton is an actor, writer, comedian and filmmaker.   A New Yorker turned Los Angelino, he most recently produced Big Top, an independent feature film currently in post-production.   Whitney's career began at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied acting.   While in New York, he co-produced The Nominee Awards, a sold-out film night at PSNBC, he's appeared in the Toyota Comedy Festival and has contributed to McSweeney's and The Weekly Week.   He also wrote and directed numerous short films, including Sofas in the Sea, and Stop Methin' Around.
