Colin Rivera was the youngest person to win the International Television Association (ITVA) Future Professional Award at age 14, and the first high school student to win a silver monitor award three years running. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, he has won numerous awards at various Film and Video festivals, most notably Best Narrative Production and Best Director two years straight at the Sony First Run Festival in NY, for The Adventures of Asian Man and White Boy and Behaviour: A Commentary, which also won Second Prize overall. He produced the Hawaii public television series Local Style through a grant from the Hawaii Committee for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts and directed several episodes. He is currently laboring to complete his first feature film, In Between Days.
